Job summary

Katharine House Hospice in Stafford is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse to join the Outpatient Care / Therapy & Wellbeing / Day Services team, focusing on holistic palliative care for adults. You will work 22.5 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday, with a supportive MDT and opportunity to develop specialist skills in palliative and end-of-life care, within a friendly charity setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Degree level (or equivalent) desirable.
• Minimum 6 months post-registration experience.
• Genuine interest in palliative and supportive care.
• MDT working with autonomy.
• Compassionate, person-centred care.

• Provide excellent palliative and supportive care to patients and families.
• Maintain MDT working and collaborative care planning.
• Contribute to ensuring high quality, safe outpatient care.
