Job summary

PPG Ipswich Johnstone’s Decorating Centre is seeking a Sales Assistant for a permanent, part-time role. You will help customers at the counter and in-store, promote our range, and support stock and presentation duties in a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer facing environment is desirable.
• Good communications skills with a positive customer focused attitude.
• Good understanding of IT systems.
• Flexibility towards working hours and duties.
• Driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on the trade counter and in store, in a friendly and professional manner.
• Undertake all required training to confidently select the correct product for customers’ needs and promote the brand.
• Ensure the store always looks well-presented and clean.
• Follow stock management procedures by taking in deliveries and keeping the shelves full.
