Berghaus Manchester is looking for a Sales Associate to be the face of the brand in our new store. You’ll create a welcoming environment, offer expert advice, and help customers find the right gear for their needs.

This part-time, four-hour contract centers on delivering great service, building product knowledge, and contributing to store targets. A positive attitude and a love of the outdoors help you stand out.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Positive, approachable, and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, confident, and authentic customer service.
• Engage customers to understand their needs and recommend the right products.
• Share product knowledge in a clear, relatable way (e.g. waterproofing, layering).
• Build strong understanding of Berghaus products and technologies.
• Represent the brand with enthusiasm and credibility.
• Stay curious and up to date with new products and innovations.
• Contribute to achieving store targets (sales, conversion, ATV).
• Support upselling and cross-selling through genuine recommendations.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Support stock replenishment, deliveries, and general store operations.
• Help ensure the store is always clean, organised, and customer-ready.
• Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive store environment.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to team success.
