Asda Opticians is seeking an Optometrist to join our Swindon store. The role focuses on performing eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations, in collaboration with the Dispensing Optician Manager to train staff and uphold departmental standards.

• Must be registered with the GOC (General Optical Council).
• Evidence of NHS performer list required (nation you work in).
• WEC/WECS accreditation may be required depending on location and contract.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye examinations and extended service examinations.
• Support training and coaching of colleagues; maintain department standards.
• Deliver NHS extended eye care services and gain required accreditations.
• Develop and deliver new patient services and drive department development.
