Job summary

Specsavers Bangor in Bloomfield Shopping Centre is seeking an Optical Assistant. You don’t need previous optics experience; you’ll help create an outstanding store environment and ensure every patient receives the best care in our stores.

We’re looking for passionate, hard‑working people who can welcome customers and work well in a team. There is plenty of training and development, with support from experienced Opticians and Technicians to help you grow your career in optics.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Optical Assistant

We aren’t looking for people with years of experience and heaps of qualifications, just passionate, hard-workers ready to confidently welcome and help customers as they walk through our doors. And once you’ve found your feet as an Optical Assistant, you don’t just have to stop there. We have plenty of professional training and development in other business areas, as well as the support of experienced Opticians and Technicians supporting you on your journey. So, whatever you want your career to look like, you can bring it to life at Specsavers.

Based in the Bloomfield Shopping Centre, we are a community driven store that actively participates with charities and community initiatives alike.
