Job summary

Specsavers in Bangor is seeking an Optical Assistant to help create an outstanding store environment and deliver excellent customer care. You don’t need prior experience, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

This role offers development with support from experienced Opticians and Technicians, plus access to the latest clinical technology. Based in Bloomfield Shopping Centre, it’s a community-focused store with flexible opportunities and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Experience in optics or Audiology business
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers as they enter the store and help them find suitable optical products
• Contribute to a positive, high-performing store environment
• Support training and development opportunities in optics and related areas
• Assist in daily store operations and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for patients

Optical Assistant
