Domestic Assistant- Band 2 at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is a permanent, part-time position (15 hours) based in Ashton Under Lyne. The role covers cleaning duties across the hospital to high standards, in line with safety and national guidelines.

Responsibilities

• The post holder will work as part of a team delivering high standards of cleanliness across the hospital, following approved cleaning procedures.
• Accurately use chemicals and cleaning equipment and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain patient, staff and public safety through appropriate warning signage during cleaning.
• Work independently or in a team to deliver services in line with policies, procedures and standards.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful manner with sensitivity when interacting with patients and families.
