Job summary

Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a part-time role in the Neurodevelopmental Team to support autism/ADHD assessments for children and young people as part of the CYPMHS cluster. You will liaise with families, schools, and MDT colleagues to contribute to diagnostic decisions and care planning.

The post involves office/clinic based work across Leeds with some potential for home-working, and offers a supportive environment with access to CPD training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people and families is welcomed.
• Knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support various stages of neurodevelopmental assessments carried out by the team.
• Direct liaison with children/young people and their families and with educational settings to gather information.
• Contribute to MDT discussions and diagnostic decision-making.
• Assist with clinic administration and maintain information packs for children and families.
• Support service evaluation, waiting list initiatives, and gathering the voice of young people accessing the ND service.
