The Tees Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team is recruiting 2 Assistant Psychologists to support specialist assessments for ASD/ADHD in children and young people up to 18 across Teesside.

Roles include assisting qualified clinicians with assessments, information gathering from schools and families, and contributing to reports under supervision. Training and supervision will be provided to perform cognitive assessments and ADOS.

Formación

• Clinical interview skills desirable
• Experience with neurodevelopmental assessments helpful
• Ability to collaborate with families and schools

Responsabilidades

• Assist qualified clinicians in ASD/ADHD neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people under supervision.
• Gather and synthesize information from clinical records, schools, families and partner agencies.
• Administer, score and interpret standardised psychometric and neurodevelopmental measures under supervision, including cognitive assessments and ADOS (training provided).
• Undertake clinical interviews and structured assessments with children and families under supervision.
• Contribute to diagnostic discussions, case formulation and assessment reports.
• Support audits, quality improvement projects and research activities; manage databases; contribute to service development and training.
