Job summary

Promni Health is seeking a part-time First Contact Physiotherapist to join a well-established team. The role is based onsite within GP practices, assessing and managing MSK patients at first contact with autonomy and clinical leadership support.

You will have opportunities to develop advanced skills, including injection therapy and independent prescribing, with protected CPD time and supervision. This is not a hybrid or remote role and involves working across multiple practices.

Qualifications

• HCPC and CSP registered Physiotherapist
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience
• Minimum 3 years MSK clinical experience
• Understanding of the HEE Roadmap to Practice and the MSK Core Capabilities Framework
• Active CPD portfolio aligned to the 4 pillars of advanced practice
• Stage 1 of the HEE Roadmap completed

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, diagnose, and manage MSK presentations including complex cases
• Request investigations (e.g. imaging, blood tests) and make appropriate referrals
• Create tailored self-management plans to support behavioural change and recovery
• Use full scope of practice - including prescribing and injection therapy (if qualified)
• Record utilisation data daily and collect PSQs (Patient Satisfaction Questionnaires)
• Collaborate within GP-based MDT and educate colleagues on MSK triage pathways
