Job summary

Essex County Council is recruiting Ugobus Drivers for Canvey Island to join a community-focused service delivering accessible transport. The role is permanent and part-time, with a typical 20 hours per week pattern and pro rata salary of £14,032 per year.

Successful candidates will drive our minibuses, complete enhanced DBS checks, and receive mandatory training including MiDAS and First Aid. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Hold a current driving licence with D1 entitlement.
• Experience working with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Flexible and able to adapt to shifting demands.
• Stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Confident using a smartphone or tablet.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
