Essex County Council is seeking Ugobus Drivers in Chelmsford to provide accessible transport for residents and businesses across Essex. This part-time, field-based role requires a current D1 entitlement and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

You’ll follow a split-shift pattern (morning and afternoon blocks), complete a DBS check and mandatory training including MiDAS and First Aid. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must hold D1 entitlement.
• Experience serving diverse passengers.
• Ability to adapt to shift patterns.
• Strong communication in customer-facing environments.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
