Job summary

Norfolk Primary Care seeks a part-time Mental Health and Work Specialist to deliver specialist mental health input within the WorkWell Norfolk MDT. The role involves a limited caseload, clinical supervision, and training responsibilities, with regular travel to WorkWell sites across Norfolk and some remote working.

The post supports adults returning to work, managing risk, and coordinating care with GPs and NHS services, while contributing to service development and partnership working.

Qualifications

• Registered mental health professional with current registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in psychological therapy or BABCP accreditation.
• Experience delivering brief psychological interventions within primary care or NHS settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments and risk management for participants.
• Deliver brief, work-focused psychological interventions of up to eight weeks.
• Contribute to MDT discussions and case consultations.
• Provide supervision and training to WorkWell team; support employers in reasonable adjustments.
