Job summary

NHS Scotland Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Medical Imaging Support Worker for University Hospital Crosshouse on a permanent basis. The post supports Sonographers and Consultants to deliver patient care in a busy imaging department.

The role requires a UK driving licence, a flexible approach, and the ability to work out of hours, including weekends and public holidays. Training will prepare the successful candidate to handle blood sampling after competency attainment.

Qualifications

• SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Good computing skills for administration duties are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support Sonographers and Consultants and assist with patient care.
• Contribute to imaging procedures and patient monitoring.
• Participate in departmental audits and CPD activities.
