Job summary

Woking College is seeking a part-time Media Technician to support staff and students in media production, with eight hours per week over two days during term time. The role focuses on hands-on technical assistance, workshops, and maintaining equipment within a creative department.

The successful candidate will be proactive, technically skilled and passionate about media production and education, able to contribute positively to a collaborative learning environment and adhere to UK Right to Work

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support to staff and students in media production.
• Assist in group workshops focused on filming, editing and relevant software.
• Develop supporting resources such as user guides and troubleshooting materials.
• Maintain and manage audio-visual equipment.
• Enable students to develop practical media production skills and overcome technical challenges.
