Job summary

Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion are seeking a Creative Media Technician to support media delivery at the Aberystwyth campus. You will assist in video shooting, capture, editing and export processes and help manage AV equipment to support teaching and practical media production.

Working with staff and learners, you will install and maintain hardware and software, ensure a safe learning environment, and contribute to a responsive, well-equipped media facility across the college.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or 3 years industry experience required.
• GCSE English at grade C or equivalent.
• GCSE Mathematics at grade C or equivalent.
• Health & Safety training or willingness to undertake.
• Recent experience with Adobe software.
• Competence with digital cameras, editing and animation software.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Creative Media and Art teams for AV equipment management.
• Offer guidance and support for hardware and software issues; diagnose and fix faults promptly.
• Carry out installation and configuration of new computer hardware.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with Health and Safety regulations.
• Prepare and update Health & Safety documentation with course teams.
