Job summary

The Creative Media Technician role at Coleg Sir Gar | Coleg Ceredigion supports delivery of Media and Art at the Aberystwyth Campus. You will shoot, capture, edit, and export media, while maintaining equipment and facilities to ensure an effective learning environment.

This is a hands-on role for a technically skilled individual with a proactive problem-solving approach, working closely with staff and learners to enable high-quality teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification or 3 years industry experience in related area.
• GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics minimum Grade C or equivalent.
• Experience with Adobe software and media hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support Creative Media and Art teams; maintain AV equipment and safety.
• Provide guidance for hardware/software issues and troubleshoot with central support.
• Install and configure new computer hardware in area of responsibility.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and health and safety records.
• Create and update Health & Safety docs and equipment maintenance records.
