Job summary

Warwickshire College Group is seeking a Lecturer in Maths for Supported Learning to teach Basic Skills, Entry Level and Level One Functional Skills Maths to students, including those with EHC plans. The role is part-time, term-time and pro rata, with duties spanning planning, delivery and assessment.

You will contribute to programme quality, participate in internal verification and uphold safeguarding and health and safety policies across the college environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Teacher Training Qualification or willingness to undertake required courses.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Basic Skills, Entry Level and Level One Maths to students (some with EHC plans).
• Develop and deliver teaching materials and plan/assess courses.
• Undertake administrative tasks related to the programme and college requirements.
• Undertake internal verification and support quality systems and lesson observations.
• Promote health and safety and safeguarding for children and at-risk adults.
