Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity is seeking a part-time Communications/Marketing and PR Assistant to support the charity's marketing and PR activity. Based at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, you will work with the Senior Communications Officer to deliver campaigns, keep the charity website current and create engaging copy for social media and newsletters.

Your role includes producing marketing materials, assisting with PR activity, and ensuring consistent branding across all communications,

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, PR or communications is essential.
• Experience writing copy for marketing materials and press releases.
• Experience with CMS and digital communications.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the marketing and PR plan for the University Hospitals Dorset Charity.
• Create engaging copy for websites, social media and email marketing; update channels and provide performance reports.
• Support internal communications to keep staff and volunteers informed of fundraising news.
• Prepare press materials and respond to media enquiries as required.
• Maintain branding across all marketing collateral and liaise with external suppliers as needed.
• Arrange meetings, document actions and monitor progress of campaigns.
