Job summary

Canva is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance & Property Services Assistant for multiple sites around the Peak District. The role requires a practical, hands-on approach with duties spanning basic maintenance, groundskeeping, laundry, and safety checks.

Availability on Mondays and Fridays is essential. A full UK driving licence is required, and the candidate should be reliable, self-motivated, friendly, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Training provided where needed.

Part-Time Maintenance & Property Services Assistant

Location: Peak Venues - Multiple sites around the Peak District

Hours: Part-time (Must be available Mondays & Fridays)

• Basic property maintenance and repairs (experience preferred but not essential)


• Groundskeeping and general outdoor maintenance


• Laundry services


• Fire safety and property compliance checks


• Assisting the housekeeping team during busy changeover days


• General property inspections and reporting any issues


• Helping ensure our properties are always guest-ready


• Property improvement projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Available to work every Monday and Friday


• A practical, hands-on approach


• Full UK driving licence


• Reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated


• Able to work independently and as part of a team


• Friendly and approachable


• Able to operate use applications such as Microsoft Teams


• Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, hospitality or property services would be an advantage, but isn't essential. We're happy to provide training for the right person with the right attitude.
