Job summary

Gordano School in Portishead near Bristol is seeking a part-time Midday Supervisor to help support the smooth running of lunchtimes in the dining hall, canteen and other areas as required.

The successful applicant will have prior team-based work, ideally in a secondary school or young person-centred setting, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should be assertive, proactive, well organised and able to prioritise tasks, with safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a team, ideally in a secondary school or “young person-centred” environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels.
• Assertive, proactive, able to use own initiative, with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support effective and positive management of school lunchtimes in the dining hall, canteen or other areas as required.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and complete regular training updates on safeguarding protocols.
