Job summary

Great Wishford Church of England Primary School is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) to support children during lunchtime. This part-time role covers 8.75 hours per week across Monday to Friday during 38 weeks per year, starting ASAP.

The successful candidate will supervise dining hall activities, assist with meal deliveries, and help ensure a safe, enjoyable lunchtime experience for pupils aged 5–11.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with pupils and staff.
• Able to work well in a team and use initiative.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Positive, flexible and reliable.
• Willingness to complete First Aid training if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist children in the dining area and during play.
• Support overall lunchtime operations and ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Assist with receipt and storage of meal deliveries and dining area cleaning.
• Contribute to a positive lunchtime experience for pupils aged 5–11.
