Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a Lunch Cover Supervisor to support primary schools in Birmingham on a supply basis. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and want flexible, school-hour work options.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months’ experience in a UK school setting, strong communication skills, and solid behaviour management abilities. A valid DBS is required or must be obtainable through TeacherActive, with references available on request.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support children in the dining hall and playground.
• Encourage positive behaviour and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with transitions between lunch and classroom time.
• Respond to minor incidents and report to staff when necessary.
