Job summary

Serco Leisure is recruiting lifeguards on behalf of Shropshire Community Leisure Trust to join Quarry Swimming & Fitness Centre. You will ensure all pool users are safe, oversee activities, and support a welcoming environment while maintaining cleanliness and equipment safety.

The role requires a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, strong swimming, and outstanding customer service. Part-time hours with benefits in a busy, community-focused leisure centre.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with diverse customers.
• Strong swimming skills and safety-conscious approach.
• Ability to supervise pool activities, maintain high standards of pool area cleanliness, and handle equipment safely.

• Supervise pool activities and ensure safety for all users.

• Safely handle and set up pool equipment and assist in lifesaving if needed.
