Job summary

Serco Leisure is seeking Lifeguards to join their team at Shropshire Community Leisure Trust. You will help ensure the pool is safe and welcoming, supervise activities, and provide excellent customer care to visitors of all ages.

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is required; you will be safety conscious, calm under pressure, and ready to save lives when needed. The role offers flexible, hybrid working where possible.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
• Excellent customer service when interacting with diverse customers.
• Strong swimming skills and safety‑minded under pressure.
• Able to supervise activities and maintain pool cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer care to people of all ages and supervise activities.
• Maintain high standards of pool area cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure safe handling and setup of pool equipment.
• Assist in saving lives when needed and respond to emergencies.
