Brighton Girls is seeking an experienced Librarian and General Technician to manage and promote the school library and learning resource centre. The role includes providing access to reading materials, research tools and information services to support teaching and learning, with flexibility to assist various subjects as a Technician.

The successful candidate will organise and maintain archives and provide effective technical support, in accordance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Librarian/General Technician in an educational setting.
• Ability to manage, develop and promote a school library and learning resource centre.
• Flexibility to support multiple subjects and provide archives/tech support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the school library and learning resources.
• Ensure access to a broad range of books and information tools for students and staff.
• Support teaching and learning across subjects and maintain the archives.
• Provide technical support in line with Health and Safety guidelines.
