Job summary

Brighton Girls (part of the GDST) is seeking an experienced Librarian/General Technician to manage the library and learning resources. The role supports teaching and learning, promotes reading, and may assist various subjects as a Technician. Responsibilities include archives work and ensuring health and safety compliance across the site.

The successful candidate will work part-time during term time, with salary at Regional Grade 3. This is a permanent position based in Brighton, East Sussex.

Qualifications

Experience in library management and promotion of learning resources.
Flexibility to support various subjects as a Technician.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a school environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop the school library and learning resource centre.
Ensure access to reading materials, research tools and information services.
