Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Educator to join the Reception team at a Lewisham primary school from September 2026.

The role is part-time, 2 to 3 days per week during term time, with a September 2026 start date and a welcoming, inclusive school environment. You will work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team to deliver play-based learning, support phonics and early language development, and contribute to group activities and assessments.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience working within an EYFS setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and play-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of high-quality, play-based learning activities.
• Promote children’s progress across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
• Deliver early phonics sessions and support language and literacy development.
• Lead small group activities and contribute to whole-class carpet sessions.
• Observe, assess and record children’s learning and development.
