Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant for the Foundation Department at Slough and Langley campuses. The role is 15 hours per week during term time, with fixed days and times, offering a pro-rata salary on the G17–G19 scale.

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will support classes, small groups, or individuals, helping learners access the curriculum and develop English, mathematics and ICT skills, while adhering to safeguarding and college policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners who have EHCPs or learning difficulties.
• Ability to support a range of learners from individuals to small groups.
• Strong organization and planning skills to manage classroom activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
• Help students overcome barriers and support English, maths, and ICT skills.
• Support with assignments, exam preparation, and adapting materials.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records; support use of equipment.
