Job summary

Stisted Church of England Primary Academy, part of Canonium Learning Trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support lessons and pupils with SEN in a friendly, supportive environment.

The role involves working with individuals and small groups, lunchtime cover, and potential wraparound care duties. Hours 08:30-15:15, term time only + non pupil days, with a salary of £19,439.30 per annum (Scale 3, point 6).

Qualifications

• Patience and understanding when supporting pupils.
• Clear communication with pupils, teachers and parents.
• Flexible and proactive approach to classroom support.

Responsibilities

• Support class teachers to deliver lessons and enable pupils of all abilities to flourish.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support for pupils with SEN.
• Assist with lunchtime and wraparound care provision as needed.
