Stisted Church of England Primary Academy, part of Canonium Learning Trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support lessons and pupils with SEN in a friendly, supportive environment.

The role involves working with individuals and small groups, lunchtime cover, and potential wraparound care duties. Hours 08:30-15:15, term time only + non pupil days, with a salary of £19,439.30 per annum (Scale 3, point 6).

Canonium Learning Trust, winner of TES Trust of the Year (9 schools or fewer) 2025, is seeking to appoint a friendly, positive and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant at Stisted CE Primary Academy.

The role will support class teachers to deliver lessons that enable pupils of all abilities to flourish. The role will also involve working one to one or with small groups of pupils with SEN.

The ideal candidate will have a patient and understanding manner, with excellent communication skills, a flexible and proactive approach, and a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.

This role will involve supporting pupil's learning both inside and outside the classroom, as well as provide lunchtime cover. The school also runs a wraparound care provision so if you are interested in helping out on a casual basis, please indicate this at the interview.

The working hours for this position is 08:30-15:15 Monday to Friday, term time only + non pupil days.

The salary is £19,439.30 per annum (scale 3 point 6).
