Job summary

Ark Hastings is seeking two Individual Needs Assistants to support learning for primary pupils in a two-form entry school. The roles are fixed-term until 31 July 2027 and require a 15-hour week (9am–midday, Monday to Friday) during term time.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for working with primary aged children.
• Good literacy and mathematical skills.
• Hard working, resilient and adaptable to change.
• Understanding and knowledge of supporting children’s learning.
• Understanding of EYFS development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development of small groups and individual pupils.
• Contribute to a friendly, supportive school environment.
