Job summary

Hertford Regional College in Ware is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to enable learners with identified learning differences to access college life, offering academic and pastoral support to help them realise their potential.

This temporary, agency-based role via HRG supports learners at the Ware Campus, with a shift pattern of Monday and Tuesday mornings and Friday 9am–3:30pm. The rate is £16.00 per hour including holiday pay, starting October 2026, term-time only.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning support with SEN learners.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the well-being of all learners and improving learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with identified learning differences to access college environment.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to realise learners' potential.
• Support a Student in Media at Ware Campus during designated shifts.
• Complete HRG compliance processes as required.
