Job summary

Capital City College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team across London campuses. This part-time, term-time role offers 31 hours per week over 40 weeks per year, providing specialist support to learners with learning difficulties and disabilities in Key Stage 4.

You will work with small groups and 1:1 sessions, collaborating with teachers to differentiate learning, track progress, and help students access the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills
• Clear and professional communication
• Ability to work with teachers to support delivery of learning in KS4
• Good tracking and IT skills
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience with learners with learning/behavioural difficulties and Disabilities aged 14+
• Collaborate with teaching staff to identify ways to support student progress

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to learners in Key Stage 4
• Differentiate and facilitate learning according to learner needs
• Support learners 1:1 and as floating support across campuses
