Job summary

Barnes Farm Primary School in Brighton is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team for 15 hours per week (9.00am–12.00pm, Monday to Friday). The successful candidate will support all pupils, including those with additional needs, and work with initiative as well as follow direction.

Experience of supporting children in a school setting is essential. GCSE Maths and English at A-C (or equivalent) and ICT knowledge are desirable.

• Experience of supporting children in a school setting.
• Able to support the child's medical needs and willing to deal with intimate care needs.
• Knowledge of strategies to engage pupils with specific and significant needs.
