North Primary School and Nursery is looking for a dedicated, patient and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our nurturing team for a minimum of 20 hours per week. This role is vital in ensuring that children with complex needs are supported to thrive.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience of working within the Foundation Stage/Key Stage One.
· Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic approaches (e.g. PACE or similar)
· A calm, nurturing presence and the ability to respond flexibly and sensitively
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience of working with children with SEMH needs, developmental delay and special educational needs
