Job summary

Access Education Group in Crosby is seeking a part-time Learner Support Assistant to provide essential learner support at the Marine Football Academy. You will assist with educational and personal development needs and help deliver targeted interventions.

Work with teaching staff to monitor progress, keep accurate records, and help learners develop literacy, numeracy, and digital skills in a friendly, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in educational or learner support role
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organised with excellent record-keeping abilities
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with digital learning tools

Responsibilities

• Assist learners with educational and personal development needs
• Support classroom activities and deliver one-to-one or small group interventions
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to tutors and management
• Help learners develop literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy
• Support learners facing challenges such as additional learning needs or social and emotional difficulties
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of learner support activities and liaise with external agencies where appropriate
