Job summary

Access Education Group in Liverpool is seeking a proactive Learner Support Assistant to help learners overcome barriers to learning and access essential resources. The role focuses on personalised support, small-group and one-to-one interventions, and collaboration with teaching staff to inform effective learning plans.

Qualifications

  • Experience in educational or learner support roles is desirable.
  • Understanding of the challenges learners may face and strategies to support diverse needs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organised with excellent record-keeping abilities.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with digital learning tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, teaching support, or a related field are advantageous but not essential.

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £26,300 to £29,200 per annum (FTE)

Position: Part-time (4 days per week)

The Role
