Job summary

IRIS Software Group in Manchester is seeking a part-time L&D Associate to help colleagues access apprenticeship and sponsored study opportunities, with 20 hours per week across four to five days in a hybrid setup.

You will be a trusted contact for learners, managers and external providers, handling enrolments, funding questions, and ongoing programme administration with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management or learner/student support.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and prioritise deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for learners, managers and providers for programme queries.
• Support learners when absent, disengaged, or facing personal difficulties, escalating high-risk cases.
• Coordinate applications, enrolments, progress, completions, pauses and withdrawals, chasing approvals and evidence.
• Maintain accurate learner information and reconcile trackers with provider records and DAS data.
• Monitor purchase orders, invoices, spend and maintain an audit trail, flag risks early.
• Produce management information and support improvements to learner communications and processes.
