Job summary

Unidine in Bristol, RI is hiring immediately for a part-time cook position. The role involves preparing high-quality meals in accordance with recipes and standards and ensuring food is served safely and at the right temperature.

You'll work PM and AM shifts, Saturday through Monday, with hours varying and details provided at interview. Prior cooking experience is required and the fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Maintains refrigerators and storerooms neat and clean; ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment as instructed and assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting.
