Charnwood Oaks in Shepshed is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team and help provide meals for 84 residents. This part-time weekend role is 18 hours per week with weekend shifts and pay at £12.96–£13.32 per hour, depending on qualifications.

You’ll assist with meal prep, food service and helping ensure meals meet dietary requirements while maintaining high hygiene standards and a welcoming dining experience for residents.

Our home supports 84 residents, many living with dementia and other age-related conditions. You'll play an important part in creating a welcoming dining experience and helping our residents feel at home.

Previous kitchen or catering experience would be beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important. Food Hygiene qualifications are desirable but not essential, as we can support you with the training you need.
