Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. is partnering with a community-focused organisation in Redruth to recruit a part-time bookkeeper for an initial 3-month contract. The role involves hands-on bookkeeping, ledgers, supplier payments, and general finance admin within a small team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with purchase and sales ledgers, solid bookkeeping grounding, and strong IT skills. AAT or QBE qualification is welcome, with a team-focused, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in both purchase and sales ledgers.
• AAT or QBE preferred.
• Solid grounding in bookkeeping and finance administration.
• Good IT skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping using Sage-based systems.
• Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions.
• Assisting with supplier payment runs.
• Completing bank reconciliations.
• Supporting with credit control.
• General finance administration tasks as required.
