Job summary

Blue Arrow is seeking an Insurance Officer to support the Council's insurance function in Devon, working 22.5 hours per week at £18.04 per hour. The role covers claims handling from notification to resolution, maintaining the claims database, and providing insurance-related advice and reports.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Certificate in Insurance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance claims from initial notification through to resolution.
• Maintain the insurance claims database.
• Provide insurance-related advice and reporting.
• Liaise with insurance brokers, insurers, claims handlers, solicitors and loss adjusters to progress claims.
• Assist with annual insurance renewal documentation.
