Barclay Simpson is seeking a Part Time Information Governance & Compliance Officer for a mental health organisation in the West Midlands. The role covers 22.5 hours weekly (3 days) with responsibility for delivering information governance across the organisation, reporting to the CITO/SIRO and DPO.

You will manage DPIAs, GDPR compliance, data rights, and policy documentation in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have NHS or healthcare IG experience, strong knowledge of UK GDPR

Qualifikationen

• Experience in NHS or healthcare information governance is essential.
• Knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 is required.
• Familiarity with NHS data security standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead DPIAs and monitor day-to-day information governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with UK GDPR, NHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on information rights requests and data breaches.
• Develop and maintain information governance policies and documentation.
• Liaise with NHS bodies, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
