Job summary

Freedom Care is seeking a kind, patient nanny to support a six-month-old baby in New Milton. This part-time, long-term role offers stability and room to grow with the family.

You will provide warm, responsive care, follow routines for feeding and sleep, help with development through age-appropriate play, and adapt to pets in the home. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential in the rural location.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with babies through nannying, childcare roles or parenting.
• Understanding of infant development, safe sleep, feeding and weaning.
• Ability to handle practical baby care tasks including lifting.
• Ability to work calmly with parents at home and follow household routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, responsive care for the baby.
• Follow family routines for feeding, sleep and daily care.
• Prepare feeds and monitor baby; share updates with parents.
• Support weaning in partnership with family when appropriate.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
• Attend to hygiene, nappy changes and daily care needs.
• Keep play areas and feeding equipment clean and tidy.
• Communicate openly with parents and respect family arrangements.
