Job summary

St Michael's Primary School in Withyham is seeking a self-motivated Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to support pupils under the guidance of the class teacher or SENCo. You may work 1:1 with a pupil, in small groups, or provide general classroom support.

The post is 22.50 hours per week for INA and 5 hours MDSA (lunchtime) with term-time pattern (39 weeks plus 6.05 weeks annual leave) and pro rata salary. Fixed term until 31.08.2027.

Qualifications

• Supporting pupils with their learning under the direction of the class teacher or SENCo.
• 1:1 work with a pupil, with a group of pupils or supporting generally in the classroom.
• Support during lunchtimes and in PPA time providing class cover.

Responsibilities

• Asking pupils to reach their full potential and provide support as needed.
• Bring prior experience or current expertise to the role if available.
