Job summary

Ark Alexandra Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Individual Needs Assistant to join our dedicated team for a term-time role (39 weeks). Pay is spread evenly across the year, so there is no unpaid month.

You will help students access GCSE content, remove barriers to progress and work collaboratively with colleagues in a busy environment. You will deliver targeted small-group support with pre-teach and post-teach input, and you should be resilient, calm and professional under pressure while taking

Qualifications

• Experience of removing barriers so that students make at least good progress.
• Experience of working with students with SEN.
• Experience developing and implementing high quality programmes and interventions for students.
• Resilient, calm and professional under pressure in a busy environment.
• Be able to take ownership of tasks and complete to a high standard.
• Be a team player that can work collaboratively as well as using your own initiative.
