Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Learning Centre Trainer for the Corby Learning Centre. You will deliver and assess ICT learning, provide guidance, and support students to achieve learning goals.

This part-time, permanent role offers 22 hours per week, a salary of £27,171 to £32,515 per annum (DOE and pro rata), 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), and access to the Teacher’s Pension and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holds ITQ Level 2 or equivalent; strong experience with Microsoft Office.
• Proven customer-facing experience with strong verbal and written communication.
• Works well in diverse teams and upholds College values.
• Willing to work evenings and Saturdays; flexible with workload.
• Committed to safeguarding and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess ICT learning, with guidance and tutorials to support learners.
• Conduct assessments and internal verification, inductions, and progress tracking.
• Administer student bookings and records using databases to stay compliant.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet recruitment and success targets and stay updated.
• Ensure safeguarding and health and safety policies understood and followed.
