Job summary

The Donkey Sanctuary in the United Kingdom is seeking a part-time Compliance Administrator to join the Legal and Governance Department. Hybrid role with one site day per week, 25 hours weekly, and a pro rata salary of £26,715 with an actual £19,082.

You will provide administrative support to the Compliance Team, handle queries, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. The role includes SAR administration, CCTV compliance, risk registers, and policy management support.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy administrative role.
• Experience supporting compliance, governance, risk, data protection, insurance, or policy environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organisational and planning skills with high accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and triage the Compliance Support Desk and allocate queries.
• Coordinate SAR scope, deadlines, and initial document searches.
• Maintain CCTV compliance documentation and logs.
• Support risk management activities and risk registers.
• Assist with insurance claims administration and liaison with insurers.
• Administer the policy management system and publish policies on internal platforms.
• Coordinate quarterly insurance review meetings and record minutes.
