Marie Curie in Tiverton, Devon, seeks a Hub Coordinator to be the central contact for families, referrers and clinical teams while coordinating care and managing referrals using digital systems.

The role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) with a permanent contract and a salary of £15,163.20 per annum, calculated from the full-time equivalent of £25,272. This fast-paced, people‑facing position requires IT familiarity, accuracy and discretion in handling information.

Qualifications

• IT Literacy – Microsoft Word Excel Email and internet
• Experience of working within a customer services environment
• Experience of working in an office environment (desirable)
• Producing management and statistical reports
• A desire to help others, work towards targets and develop their skills
• Ability to solve problems and take proactive action to address issues
• Excellent communication, inter-personal and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
• Willing to work with a degree of flexibility according to the needs of the trainee & the charity

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with sensitivity, accuracy and professionalism for patients, families and clinical teams
• Manage referrals and update patient information in digital systems
• Maintain accurate records, support rotas and scheduling
• Ensure care details are clearly documented in systems
• Be a key point of contact for families, referrers, Marie Curie colleagues and clinical teams
